Denkendes Auge, video mapping in Essen, Germany

"Denkendes Auge" is a video mapping inspired by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's studies on light, darkness and color and their perception through the human eye. A recognition of the vitality of retina, the sensitive and moral effect of color and the experiments with its contrasts. Landscapes also stimulated by narratives and poetry of Goethe, whose stanzas give voice to the audiovisual mapping.
The Essen Light Festival in Germany has chosen the project by Sílvia Isach to be realized on the facade of Brecklinghaus in the city of Essen. This has been projected for 10 consecutive days, from September 30 to October 9, in a festival of light that exclusively uses energy from renewable sources.
