The Town Festival in Capellades has been inaugurated with opening speech by archaeologist Eudald Carbonell followed by a commemorative video mapping of 40 years of continuous excavations at Abric Romaní archaeological site. The mapping has been projected on the Molí Paperer Museum's facade.
The highlight from the
Town Festival opening speech of Capellades was the commemorative video mapping of 40 years of continuous excavations at Abric Romaní archaeological site. Four decades that have made it possible to discover many remains and turn the archaeological site of Capellades into one of the reference points for studying the Neanderthals life.
For this double celebration Sínoca has created a video mapping establishing an informative and attractive link for the public between the architecture of Molí Paperer Museum, the history of Abric Romaní and the Neanderthal ancestors and art and technology of mapping.
